•   For those who are interested in hiring me to work at their company, I am open to that idea, providing it is a legal, fun-loving place that could use my talents.  Please, no MLMs, or places that expect you to pay them to work for them.  A rock group would be ideal, or a place that designs toys or greeting cards.  Office or studio work at the same would be fine--I can handle the business aspects as well as the creative ones, and have a lot to offer with all my experience, and know how to work a surprising array of equipment as well as tend to catch on very quickly.

•   Short Bio--

•   Born Cynthia Lee Childress in Houston, Texas, USA.  Father was a contract aerospace engineer, so traveled extensively over most of the western US (as well as a short stint in Boston, MA) until high school.  Graduated from Kentridge SHS (near Seattle, WA) with honors in 1976.  A lifelong musician, handcraft artist and horse enthusiast, taking after a long line of the same on both sides of the family.  Moved back in with parents for a short while in Wichita, KS after graduating from Rice University in 1982, but moved back to Houston after finding Wichita State too expensive to attend as a non-resident, but received an A in Social Psychology upon taking that one class at WSU in 1983.  Also took several acting courses, studying briefly  with Bobby Brown at Rice in 1982 and Mona Fultz in Austin in the late 80's.  Moved to Austin, Texas upon being transferred there as a commercial artist with Johnstown American in 1986, then married former fellow supervisor from Texas Art Supply, Ed Haddock.  Stayed in Austin to contunue as a commercial artist after Johnstown went bankrupt a few months later.  Currently working on another art rock album and a first novel, both of which should be out sometime next year, if not sooner.

Accounting, tax filing,  correspondence, catalog ordering, inventory, marketing, ad design and implementation, computer data entry, web page design/implementation/updating,  typing, web research and correspondence for new sales outlets/supply sources and  phone work are also used on a regular basis--a one person operation. All computer work done on a PC, using programs such as Microsoft Works (Works versions of Word, Access, Excel, Power Point, picture editing programs), PageMaker, Quicken, Microsoft Money, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Paint, and Photomax SE ($15000+/year, 70+ hour week).

Extensive filing on BSS (The Business Solution)--a software package, updating customer addresses/phone numbers, and so forth, for a 10K customerbase. Entered all jobs into this system as well, using an IBM-Style computer.
